Singapore CISO Leaders Summit is Exploring the Latest Developments in Cyber Security – Here We Meet Some of the Keynote Speakers.

5th October 2016 – Focus Network are pleased to announce the latest speakers to join the CISO Leaders Summit Singapore 2016.  

Focus Network who hosts the Singapore CISO Leaders Summit have started inviting Singapore’s leading international and local experts to provide thought leadership on site through keynote speaking sessions, panel discussions & roundtable sessions. The advisory council that Media Corp have created for this event is made up of the most respected Information Security leaders who have created the most relevant and topical agenda for the attendees.

Richard Moore who is the Managing Director and Chief Information Security Officer for DBS Bank will be joining the gathering as one of the Keynote Speakers. Richard joined DBS Bank in June 2012 as the Group Head of Financial Crime & Security Services. With his team, he is accountable for ensuring DBS has systems and processes in place to identify and prevent anti money laundering, sanctions, fraud and security risk. Richard Brings a wealth of knowledge gained through experience at one of Australia’s leading financial institutions, and the Australian Police Service.

Richard will be discussing Managing Cyber Security as a Business Risk as well as in the broader risk management framework as well as ensuring ensuring your business is prepared with a Cyber Risk awareness culture for both customers and staff. He will also explore the importance of Information sharing between government regulators and the industry to assist in influencing the regulatory agenda. This session will provide some great incite and will be session not to be missed.

The CISO Leaders Summit will also be welcoming Christian Karam, the Global Director of Cyber Threat Intelligence from UBS. Christian will be looking at being confronted with very large challenging, evolving and aggressive threat landscapes. The session is entitled Plan, Pray or Pay, and will focus on how security response has moved from the reactive model to more preventive, adaptive and investigative activities with an increased interest in threat intelligence capabilities. Blocking the attack is important but less compelling compared to blocking the attacker, and the philosophy needed to to overcome these issues.

The Summit will also be hosting an expert Panel which will centre around Top Critical Needs & Requirements – The Frontiers of Cyber Innovation: With major new cyber breaches reported almost daily in the news, corporate CIO’s reporting cyber security as a priority and Global 2000 Board Rooms scrambling to come to grips with the scale, scope and implications of cyber security threats, cyber security innovation is at the forefront of efforts to defend the global economy against the collective efforts of criminal elements, hacktivists and state actors to inflict damage on global IT networks at the speed of light. Our panel of highly experienced practitioners will look into their innovation crystal balls to identify the most promising areas for disruption innovation on The Frontiers of Cyber Innovation
